Install Perfect Player on Android TV & Google TV
The same app as the Android install, laid out for a 10-foot interface and a remote control.
Android TV and Google TV boxes and televisions run the same Perfect Player app as Android phones, just designed to be read from across a room and controlled without a touchscreen. This covers TV boxes, TV sticks and televisions with Android TV or Google TV built in.
Open the app
Launch it with the remote. The interface is built around directional navigation, so every field is reachable without a mouse.
Add your playlist or credentials
Settings → General → Playlist. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your M3U URL, or switch to Xtream Codes and enter your server, username and password.
Configure EPG, if supported
Settings → EPG — enter your XMLTV or JTV guide link if your provider gave you one. Skip this if you don't have one; channels still work.
Restart and start watching
Return to the home screen and restart the app so channel groups, logos and the guide load from your playlist.
